Mountain Bike Trails
We have significant experience in planning, designing, and constructing professional mountain bike trails across the east coast of Australia and have worked with some of Australia’s leading trail construction firms to hone our skills. We have constructed all types of mountain bike trails from cross country, to flow trails to down hills trails that are used in regular local and NSW State Championship level competitions. We have delivered projects for many community groups, local and state government clients and worked on high-profile trails in challenging locations. We aim through our design and construction to provide a memorable experience like no other for both seasoned mountain bikers and those new to the sport.
Walking Trails
We have worked with a range of clients on design, construction and maintenance of a range of walking trails within local parks, reserves and National Parks. Our experience has included redefining overgrown trails, removing and replacing timber steps, installing small bridges using FRP, installing sandstone steps and full regrade with imported VENOM material. Our walking trails aim to provide a safe user experience that reduces impacts of foot traffic on our local environment.
BMX Parks & Jump Trails
We have constructed a range of BMX facilities and jump lines across the Sydney region that have provided opportunity for kids, families and riders to build their skills and progress their skills and push their limits in a safe environment. When constructing our BMX and jump trails we have undertaken extensive consultation with clubs and communities to determine the desired type and size of jumps and have delivered both dirt jumps and timber ramps. Our ramps and jumps are constructed with the highest level of workmanship by qualified tradesman to ensure that they are safe for all users and last the test of time in the tough Australian elements.
Fire & Access Trails
We have delivered a range of access roads and fire trail construction and maintenance, primarily on private property within NSW. We have worked to redefine overgrown trails, undertaken erosion and water management, and created safe egress including passing bays and turning circles to NSW RFS Fire Trail Standards. Our works are always undertaken in a sensitive matter inline with relevant environmental approvals, and we aim to ensure that our trails and trail design deliver on best practice industry standards.
Trail Infrastructure
We provide a full suite or trail construction and maintenance services including installation, replacement and maintenance of trail related infrastructure. We have experience in the design and installation of trail signage in line with IMBA Trail Grading Guidelines as well as the installation of shelters, seating and carparks to support trail safe trail access and usage.
Trail Consultancy Services
In addition to our experience in constructing trails, we have provided expert industry knowledge to a range of MTB clubs and associations to successfully obtain grant funding, to create clubs and establish trail networks all across eastern Australia. Our work has focused on international guidelines and has attracted hundreds of thousands of dollars from government bodies and corporate sponsors to build and maintain some of Australia’s most well loved trails.
Community Engagement & Training
Many of our trail construction projects include community engagement with a range of stakeholders, either to produce trail design, to advise on construction works and approach or even to work with community volunteers to ensure maximum output for MTB organisations. We are highly experienced in liaising with community members regarding trails and have delivered a range of site walks, planning workshops and drop in sessions and training programs with stakeholders to ensure that our works meet the needs of the stakeholders, and that our clients aims can be achieved. This work has also including liaison with environmental groups and Aboriginal traditional owners to ensure that they are aware of our works and how we are mitigating associated project risks.
