BMX Parks & Jump Trails
We have constructed a range of BMX facilities and jump lines across the Sydney region that have provided opportunity for kids, families, and riders to build their skills and progress their skills and push their limits in a safe environment. When constructing our BMX and jump trails we have undertaken extensive consultation with clubs and communities to determine the desired type and size of jumps and have delivered both dirt jumps and timber ramps. Our ramps and jumps are constructed with the highest level of workmanship by qualified tradesman to ensure that they are safe for all users and last the test of time in the tough Australian elements.

Our work included working with the local trail group Born to Ride Freestyle Association Inc who were instrumental in the set up and design of the park in 2004, making our work to complement their efforts even more important. The site is now used to hold annual BMX events and provides an ongoing location for the youth of Wollondilly the chance to shred with their friends.

Project: Helensburgh Mountain Bike Park Jump Line
Client: Helensburgh Offroad Cycle Club, Helensburgh, NSW
Budget: $15,000
Timeframe: Completed August 2022 (2 weeks)

Description:
Construction We were required to demolish the original jump line which consisted of an initial berm and four tabletop jumps. The club requested an intermediate to advanced line made of timber resulting in minimal upkeep. To kickstart the project the initial roll in berm was demolished and re-built to allow adequate speed and a range of timber jumps ranging in size from small progressive (1500mm) to a second intermediate jump (1800mm moderate kick) to the final advanced timber jump (1900mm large amount of kick). The fourth tabletop was reshaped to be used as either a final jump, or a speed check to slow down, stop, and hike to the start and a B-line trail was also created for those who are not quite ready. The end result was a very successful, enjoyable jump line which allows great progression from intermediate to advanced level and it is still being enjoyed today.
